BAD, BAD, BAD edits in at least four places that are so bad that several scenes are cut-off  mid-scene, mid-sentence. The acting was fine I like Taraj P Henson she was good in this movie.

I watched this with a group of friends mostly black and we enjoyed the parts with Madea were hilarious.

And laugh if you will, but for me, one of the worst visuals in the film is the make-up on Mary J. Blige’s arm in the final block party scene. Nothing sets the stage for the development of any real relationships of sincerity, truth and love,  which leads to too flippant an ending for such a serious part of the film’s message. From a technical and directorial standpoint, I am anything but impressed; so much so that during the screening, I wanted to rip film out of the projector.

Feeling hurt at her unfair accusations, Sandino says farewell to the children and leaves. But what happens when the Pastor learns that Grandma has passed away? A single mom takes her family to Georgia for the funeral of her father -- a man she never met. Jennifer tells her that she should recognize Sandino as a good man. Madea is such a strong, fun character that once Perry puts her into a story, he needs to keep her there and work her into the plotline more from a grandmotherly sense. A heavy-drinking nightclub singer who lives off of Randy, her married boyfriend, April wants nothing to do with the kids. Ah yes, Aunt April is a fine example of a human being. Sandino tries to stop her from drinking, but she pushes him away. Little does Madea know just how much responsibility Jennifer already carries. But Aunt April is anything but the world’s greatest aunt. Anyways this film wasn't bad and the rating shouldn't be low at 2.8 it should be 4 or 5 stars.
Although the film and play share the same title, the film is not an adaptation of Perry's play of the same name; the two works have different storylines. He shows her by kissing her. A mechanic falls in love with his attorney. And that’s a shame, because Perry is too funny as Madea.Written and directed by Perry, overall, the story is too short on redemption and actually “glorifies”  the life April leads, making it look attractive to young girls in terms of the nightclubbing, performing on stage and men wanting them. As the film now stands, you could almost lift her character out completely. What will become of Sandino? Insufficiently interwoven with the story to have a sense of belonging of unity with the script, some of the songs feel like outsiders again with a feeling of being “dropped-in” as a mechanism to grab some other demographics.Disappointing overall, I CAN DO BAD ALL BY MYSELF falls short in comparison to some of Perry’s other films and the level of excellence both technically and from a storytelling standpoint. The big screen adaptation of Perry's stage play about the trials of marriage, and what happens to one family when a sexy young temptress arrives on the scene. One Sunday morning, Sandino eagerly knocks on April's bedroom door to get April ready for church, but Randy threatens to kill Sandino if he continues to spend time with April.

If you like tyler perry and his movies then you'll like I can do bad all by myselfLooking for something to watch? Madea dispenses her unique form of holiday spirit on rural town when she's coaxed into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas. With the passing of their mother some years back, the children were left in the care of their grandmother. Look back at the leading ladies of the 1980s who made their mark with iconic roles (and some major hairstyles, too).Want to share IMDb's rating on your own site? Despite little dialogue, he conveys emotion through his facial expression that speaks volumes and elicits laughs and love.I really enjoy and like Adam Rodriguez. This is not any kind of message to be sending to anyone.Big kudos go to Mary J. Blige. As Sandino, he brings some genuine emotion to the story and gives it a backbone and sense of hope and pride that the other adult characters lack.
If anything, Perry takes ten steps backward both with his message and characters and the quality of the film as a whole.Sixteen year old Jennifer and her two younger brothers, Manny and Byron, haven’t had the easiest of lives.

He tells April that he is in love with her but he wants April to love him back the same way he loves her.

And this film definitely does not achieve the multi-ethnic demographic crossover for which he is so famous. She is the singular reason to see this film. A good story of how a bad situation can not be as bad as it could be however Tanja (Mary J. Blige) said it best in her singing of "I Can do Bad all by Myself".
